Pilots & Painted Ladies is my first conventionally published book. All my other work has been self-published. It was released by Casemate Publishers on January 15, 2025 and is available around the world online and in bookstores. The experience of working with a bonafide publisher has been interesting to say the least. They did a beautiful job on the cover. The editing process was thorough and professional. Marketing has been outstanding. Now I have to patient and see how it is received. Initial response by those with extensive knowledge of the CBI (China, Burma, India) Theater in WWII has been positive but I have to say, I’m quite nervous about having those experienced eyes fact checking my work. I spent a lot of time and effort in researching history as well as compiling my father’s extensive library of his experience. My hope is that I have given a fair, accurate, and entertaining account of those times. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
